EMR Patch VI Changes [August-16-2010]

MTBC EMR Version 4.0.06.00 provides an exciting array of new features and improvements as well as many changes specifically designed to address the new Meaningful Use regulations. This release also provides improved e-prescribing functionality, improved documentation of patient communication, and improvements to the claims generation process. This update to the EMR includes our SureScripts® certified e-prescribing functionality.

New Features
  • Direct connectivity to SureScripts®
    • This update of the EMR contains our newly released connectivity
      SureScripts
      to the Pharmacy Health Information ExchangeTM, operated by SureScripts®. This new functionality allows you the greatest flexibility and ease of use for the entire medication workflow. As a SureScripts® Certified Solution Provider, we provide you the functionality to:
      • Submit e-prescriptions directly to pharmacies,
      • Approve refill requests,
      • Review patient formularies,
      • Examine drug alternatives, and
      • Retrieve externally prescribed medications.
  • Communications
    • New features on the patient communications tab allow all users in the practice to update the same communication message, with detailed tracking for each update.
  • Claims generation
    • Ability to sort and customize the order of diagnosis and procedure codes on the electronic superbill.
    • Ability to add more diagnosis and procedure codes.
    • Ability to customize the description of diagnosis and procedure codes.
    • Added location specific superbills.
  • Newly printable forms integrated into the scheduler:

EMR Patch V Changes [June-16-2010]

MTBC EMR Version 4.0.05.00 provides the largest collection of new features and functionality since the debut of MTBC’s EMR. We have introduced a variety of industry leading features in this release including patient health record integration through MTBC’s Web-ChartTM and real-time claims adjudication. This release provides improved charting functionality, expanded templates, and enhanced faxing.
